Mr. Ezzat Eid
Born in Lebanon, Ezzat Eid is an ardent Businessman and Philanthropist. He graduated from the Beirut University College in 1970 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
After working his first job with Eagle Electrical Company in Liberia till 1977, Eid founded Capital Electrical Company in Liberia. He currently serves as the Managing Director of the International Aluminum Factory which he founded in Monrovia. Eid is also on the board of many other businesses such as The Liberian Resources Corporation, Realty Management Corporation, City Builders, Royal Grand Hotel and Oasis Estates to name a few.
Eid was elected as the President of the Lebanese Association in Monrovia in 2003 and 2010. He is also on the Board of Trustees of several institutions such as University of Liberia, the AME University as well as the Omega Insurance Company. He is also serving the President of the World Cultural Union in Liberia.
Eid holds many awards such as Business Man of the Year, the Certificate of Honor from the Ghana embassy in Monrovia as well as the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humanities (H.L.D) Honoris Causa from the African Methodist Episcopal University.
